The Manitoba Day Awards were established in 2007 by the Association for Manitoba Archives to “recognize users of archives who have completed an original work of excellence which contributes to the understanding and celebration of Manitoba history.”
For the tenth anniversary of the awards, awards were given out in two categories, Books and Exhibitions & Websites. The awards ceremony took place on Thursday, May 19 at the University of Winnipeg Archives.
