Spring Awards Season

University of Manitoba Press is pleased to have two of our titles recognized this spring awards season.

Emily Eaton’s Growing Resistance was nominated in three categories at the upcoming Saskatchewan Book Awards: the University of Saskatchewan College of Arts & Science and Library Non-Fiction Award; the National Bank Financial Wealth Management First Book Award; University of Regina Arts and Luther College Award for Scholarly Writing

The SBA ceremony, which includes a total of thirteen awards, will be Saturday, April 27 at Regina’s Conexus Arts Centre.

The Manitoba Book Awards take place the next day in Winnipeg at the West End Cultural Centre.

Hans Werner’s The Constructed Mennonite was nominated for the Alexander Kennedy Isbister Award for Non-Fiction and the McNally Robinson Book of the Year.
