The University of Manitoba Press is hiring a Promotions Coordinator. This is a full-time position with an expected start date of September 13, 2021. The posting closes on August 27, 2021.

Revenues from book sales are a significant part of the Press’s overall budget, and play a critical role in its ability to meet its publishing and financial goals. A majority of Press book sales are made to bookstores, chains, and individual customers. Book promotion and publicity play a key role in generating and maintaining these sales. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the media and readers are aware of the Press’s books and authors and ensuring that these books reach their maximum sales potential.
