Our Sales and Marketing Supervisor, Stephanie Paddey, will be taking maternity leave from February 2023-August 2024. Sarah Ens, our current Promotions and Publicity Coordinator, will be covering Stephanie’s position during her leave, creating an exciting opportunity to find UMP’s next Promotions and Publicity Coordinator. If you are a strong communicator with a love of good books and a desire to learn the ins and outs of publishing, we want you on our team!

This full-time position has the expected starting and closing dates of February 6, 2023—August 2, 2024. The job posting closes on January 4, 2023.

Revenues from book sales are a significant part of the Press’s overall budget, and play a critical role in its ability to meet its publishing and financial goals. A majority of Press book sales are made to bookstores, chains, and individual customers. Book promotion and publicity play a key role in generating and maintaining these sales. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the media and readers are aware of the Press’s books and authors and ensuring that these books reach their maximum sales potential.
