Medicare's Histories

Origins, Omissions, and Opportunities in Canada

Esyllt W. Jones (Editor), James Hanley (Editor), Delia Gavrus (Editor)

As COVID lays bare social inequities and the inadequacies of health care delivery and public health, Medicare's Histories shows what was excluded and what was—and is—possible in health care.

Join editors Esyllt W. Jones, James Hanley, and Delia Gavrus for the launch of Medicare’s Histories: Origins, Omissions, and Opportunities in Canada. This event features a conversation with Mary Jane Logan McCallum and will be hosted by Nathan Nickel.

The launch will be hosted live in the Atrium of McNally Robinson Booksellers, Grant Park and also available as a simultaneous YouTube stream. The video will be available for viewing thereafter. Before arriving, please review details of how to attend physical events at the store.

As COVID lays bare social inequities and the inadequacies of health care delivery and public health, this book shows what was excluded and what was—and is—possible in health care.
