Happy new year from our bedroom offices!

We’re back and excited to launch our 2021 books into the world.

While a few of our staff are able to access our offices at the University of Manitoba occasionally, we are largely still working from home for the foreseeable future.

In other news, our Publicity and Promotions Coordinator, Ariel Gordon, will be taking a leave from her position from mid-January until the end of May to focus on her creative work. Ariel is grateful to the Manitoba Arts Council for providing the funding to allow her to dedicate this time to poetry.

Nicole Haldoupis will be covering Ariel’s position during her leave.

Nicole is a writer, editor, designer, and visual artist originally from Toronto. She brings prairie book and magazine promotion experience from Thistledown Press and Grain magazine. She completed an MFA in Writing in 2016 at the University of Saskatchewan and is currently on the board of directors at Riddle Fence.

Her first book, Tiny Ruins (Radiant Press), was released in October 2020. Nicole lives in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Nicole looks forward to working with all of you, planning launches and promoting books!
