Manitoba Book Awards shortlists announced!

Winnipeg – The Manitoba Writers’ Guild, with the assistance of the Association of Manitoba Book Publishers, would like to announce the shortlists for the upcoming Manitoba Book Awards.
The awards ceremony, hosted by CTV personality Rachel Lagacé, will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Robert B. Schultz Theatre (91 Ralph Campbell Rd.) at the University of Manitoba’s St. John’s College. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the ceremony starting at 7:00 p.m.
The event is organized by the Manitoba Writers’ Guild. Tickets are $10 plus fees and can be purchased through Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/manitoba-book-awards-gala-tickets-45036178422
Please note that the Beatrice Mosionier Indigenous Writer of the Year Award/ Prix Beatrice-Mosionier pour l’écrivaine ou l’écrivain autochtone de l’année has been held over until next year.
