As part of a national tour for Life Stages and Native Women: Memory, Teachings, and Story Medicine, Guleph-based author Kim Anderson will make two appearances at THIN AIR: Winnipeg International Writers Festival.

On September 20, from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Millennium Library’s Carol Shields Auditorium, Kim will be giving a lecture as a part of THIN AIR’s Big Ideas Series, which invites writers to give audience members an intellectual work-out.

Entitled Women’s Lives, Women’s Wisdom, the lecture will feature excerpts on Kim’s recent UMP title, Life Stages and Native Women: Memory, Teachings, and Story Medicine

On September 21, Kim will be giving a reading at the University of Manitoba. The reading is via THIN AIR’s Campus Program and will be from 11:30-12:20 in St. John College’s Cross Common Room.

Kim will also be appearing in Ottawa, Eden Mills, Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Guelph, Kingston and Toronto over the coming months.
