To help contain the transmission of COVID-19, the University of Manitoba has announced a number of changes that have changed day to day life at the university.
Though courses have shifted to online delivery, the university remains open. (Check here for the most recent news.)
Going forward, some UMP staff will be in the office on a rotating basis. Others will be working from home for the foreseeable future. All staff will be available by email, telephone, or via Skype/Zoom meetings.
If you’d like to order a book via UMP’s website, we are currently able to get print book orders to Canada Post within 72 hours. Digital books should be unaffected.
Following the most recent guidelines—which call for all non-essential events involving 50 or more participants be cancelled or postponed—we’ve shifted previously planned book launches to later in the spring, or, if need be, to the fall.
