The Province of Manitoba has now declared a state of emergency for 30 days, and all buildings on the University of Manitoba campus will be closed at midnight on Monday, March 23.
This means we will no longer be able to fulfill orders for physical books from our website. Order for digital books are unaffected and customers will still be able to order those from us directly.
There are other ways for you to order UMP books, however. We encourage you to order through your local bookstore. As well, McNally Robinson Booksellers in Winnipeg is still able to ship book orders to customers across Canada.
Canadian customers can also order our books from our Canadian distributor University of Toronto Press.
Customers in the U.S. can order physical books from our U.S. distributor Long Leaf Services. And customers outside of Canada and North America can order physical books from our overseas distributor, Eurospan. (More details for both distributors here.)
