University of Manitoba Press is pleased to announce the appointment of David Larsen as the press’s new director.
David brings twenty-five years of experience in publishing and the book trade, most recently as the press’s Sales and Marketing Supervisor. Over the past eight years in his role at UMP, he has overseen the expansion of the press’s sales and relationships with new international partners. Prior to his work with the press, David held positions in the library wholesale and book retail sectors. He holds an MA (History) from the University of Manitoba.
David will be replacing David Carr, who will retire October 29 after twenty-six years as press director.
UMP eagerly anticipates this next chapter under David’s leadership.
