After eight years overseeing the expansion of the press’s sales, David Larsen is moving to his new position as Director of UMP.

The University of Manitoba Press is hiring a Sales and Marketing Supervisor. This is a full-time position with an expected start date of November 29, 2021. The posting closes on November 14, 2021.

The Marketing and Sales Supervisor has the key responsibility of ensuring that the press meets its ongoing book sales and revenue goals, and that its marketing and sales activities are undertaken on budget and on schedule. This role is responsible for developing the press’s overall sales and marketing strategies, and for planning, organizing, and overseeing all of the press’s sales and marketing activities to ensure that the press’s books reach the largest possible national and international readership.
